Christopher has been on a great many national slam teams over the years, successfully competing on several national, state and city finals stages, and winning such achievements such as 2nd individual in the nation at the National Poetry Slam (NPS), multiple top three finishes in NPS team and group categories, placing 2nd individually at the state-level in the 2014 Texas Grand Slam as well as being the 2011 Arkansas Grand Slam Champ.

I've known Christopher Michael for almost 8 years... Watching him continually grow as a poet and perfect his craft is so inspiring... The words he speaks and the fire and passion he infuses into each piece makes the stories come alive... I hear his voice in my head when I read his book.... I see the passion and animation in his face.... I hear the sublet inflections in voice when he wants you to really GET the messages he is trying to convey... Bravo Christopher!!

This book is advertised as a collection of poems , but it is so much more than that. It is a glimpse into Christopher Michael's life. It is a reality check that details the many phases we encounter during our time on this side of the dirt. This book doles out the happy, sad, educational, funny, and everything in between. It will make you experience almost every emotion known to mankind. This is the book of poems that you've been waiting to add to your collection.

I haven't even finished the book and I'm already in love. This is such a great collection of poems. He is such a gifted poet! I love how diverse his poems are. There is a collection on funny, inspirational, educational and just plain awesome poems. If you don't get this book you are missing out!!!
